Iron Mountain Customer Development Executive, IMES in United States

As a Customer Development Executive, you would develop and retain client relationships; market and identify opportunities to upsell Iron Mountain products and services to existing accounts with subject matter experts.

Major Responsibilities

  • Model exemplary customer service behaviors

  • Consistently meet/exceed the needs of assigned customer base

  • Represent the Iron Mountain Entertainment Services (IMES) clients’ interests

  • Educate customer on Iron Mountain products and services (i.e. DCR, InSight, film inspection, preservation, remediation etc.)

  • Provide training and demonstrations to customers with respect to workflow, invoicing, SafeKeeper , and other services and operating systems

  • Facilitate the research and response to customer issues and secure necessary resources

  • Utilize and maintain Salesforce, and SafeKeeper

  • Keep client informed regarding specific account management issues, interface with appropriate departments as needed

  • Conduct customer facility tours

  • Assist in the customer closing process of existing accounts

  • Ensure contract compliance and renewal

  • Develop strategic account plans for individual accounts

  • Participate in special projects workflow

  • Develop a keen understanding of the SafeKeeper system as it relates to reporting, workflow, billing and research capabilities

  • Maintain the minimum (8) number of appointments per week/Activity standards/Expectations

  • Proactively communicate with customers by letters, phone calls and proactive/reactive visits to enhance the MES relationship; schedule follow up meetings. The entertainment-based client requires a higher caliber of client/account manager relationship, which is maintained through a more personal level of client service visits and involvement in “Industry” special events. Media Charitable events, as well as special attention given to our clients anniversaries, birthday, promotions etc.


  • 2-4 years within a technical sales environment

  • Huge plus to understand and have experience within the Entertainment industry

  • Strong sales performance track record
