As Commercial Director you are to lead the Iron Mountain Commercial Team to achieve the sector revenue and EBITDA target and to improve customer retention. This role is responsible for delivery of the budget growth in revenue and EBITDA. This includes the leadership, management and development of the commercial team in order to achieve set targets. One of your main challenges will be to build the commercial team and set up strategy for the growth for the Bulgarian entity and in a longer term for the cluster.
Delivery of the in-year budget growth for revenue, average price and EDITDA
Increased customer retention
Accuracy and timeliness of pipeline reporting
Ownership of all customers
Management of Sales Performance through leadership and management of team (focusing on productivity, individual performance and teamwork)
Decrease DSO by constantly focusing on money collection
Definition of commercial strategy to achieve EBITDA, Average prices and Revenue growth targets
Development of a 3-5 year business plan to aggressively grow revenue including pricing strategy
Advocate innovations and investments to better serve needs of IM customer base
Responsible for creating customer experience strategy to deliver competitive advantage & sustain profitability
Design the overall Iron Mountain Bulgaria Commercial strategy with particular focus on customer requirements and revenue acceleration
Provide leadership in establishing customer-focused culture. Implementing and managing initiatives tools that drive to customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention in efficient and standardised approach
Responsible for driving and influencing future service roadmaps within customer experience
Play a senior advisory role to the organisation, evaluating product performance to help proactively develop business opportunities
Understand market trends and market information, identify impact to customers and share internally for further analysis
Skills (including languages):
Ability to work well and at pace under pressure while delivering results to exacting deadlines
Proven ability to build successful, long terms senior level customer relationships
Ability to build and develop successful long term relationships with key internal stakeholders including, operational management, sales and other teams and departments
Performance coaching in a sales context
Ability to develop and maintain the sales team's product and industry specific knowledge
Energetic, dynamic, tenacious, resilient
Strong commercial astuteness and financial understanding
Strong communication and influencing skills at a senior level
Proven sales management experience within a highly competitive commercial environment
Experience in setting up a commercial team.
Ability to work and communicate effectively within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels, internally and externally.
Proven experience of developing detailed customer / sector knowledge through networking and professional association membership
Proven experience of effective negotiation and complex problem solving
