Account Executive Wanted – Join Iron Mountain’s Global Community!

Iron Mountain is in the midst of a global sales evolution, specifically launching exciting career opportunities within our Inside Sales teams across Europe. We are actively seeking talented and ambitious individuals to take advantage of the significant career opportunities we have available.

By 2024, we anticipate that 25% of our global sales will be driven by our Inside Sales teams. As such, the individuals making up these teams will be instrumental in shaping the exciting future and growth of an organisation focused on Technology and Security.

To help make this happen, we are currently looking for a number of Account Executives to join our UK team. This is a remote working opportunity so we are welcoming applications from candidates across the UK.

What You Will Do

  • Manage, retain and grow relationships with an aligned set of customer accounts

  • Proactively hunting for new opportunities by developing new customer contacts within those accounts

  • Understand the key messages / value proposition of Iron Mountain and be able to effectively communicate this to our customers / prospects

  • Manage and close new business to business (B2B) opportunities

  • Achieving monthly / quarterly / annual volume and revenue targets

  • Achieve weekly targeted activity levels, such as calls, emails and quotations

  • Maintain accurate records on CRM System

What You Will Bring

  • Telephone based sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment A confident, ambitious self-starter

  • Enthusiastic and engaging in conversation with confidence in building relationships and overcoming objections

  • A curious mindset

  • Demonstrable business acumen

  • The ability to research the market and uncover new business opportunities

  • Positive attitude

  • Proactive mind-set (not afraid to pick up the phone)

  • Able to learn quickly and ask the right questions

  • Comfortable with using a computer / social media

  • Interest in technology / IT

  • Desire to be customer-centric
