Business Development Executive Wanted – Be a Part of Iron Mountain’s Future!

Thanks to our aggressive growth plans, we are rapidly scaling up our Inside Sales teams across Europe. To that end, we are seeking talented individuals who have the drive and ambition to take advantage of the tremendous international career development opportunities available here at Iron Mountain.

By 2024, we anticipate that 25% of our global bookings will be generated by our Inside Sales teams. As such, the individuals making up these teams will play an integral and exciting role in shaping the very future of our organization.

To help make this happen, we are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join our UK team. This is a remote working opportunity, so we are welcoming applications from candidates across the UK.

What You Will Do

  • Execute outbound phone calls / LinkedIn introductions for the purposes of demand generation, lead generation and sales conversion

  • Drive sales and lead generation, proactively hunting for new opportunities

  • Understand the key messages / value proposition of Iron Mountain and be able to effectively communicate this to our customers / prospects

  • Manage and close new business to business (B2B) opportunities

  • Achieving monthly / quarterly / annual volume and revenue targets

  • Achieve weekly targeted activity levels, such as calls, emails and quotations

  • Maintain accurate records on CRM System

What You Will Bring

  • Telephone based sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment (other telesales environments will be considered, as we have a variety of opportunities)

  • A confident, ambitious self-starter

  • Enthusiastic and engaging in conversation with confidence in building relationships and overcoming objections

  • Demonstrable business acumen

  • The ability to research the market and uncover new business opportunities

  • Positive attitude

  • Proactive mind-set (not afraid to pick up the phone)

  • Able to learn quickly and ask the right questions

  • Comfortable with using a computer / social media

  • Interest in technology / IT

  • Desire to be customer-centric
