Iron Mountain is continuing to expand rapidly in 2023 and subsequently we are currently recruiting for an additional Business Development Manager to join our UK Sales function. In this position you will have responsibility for driving new business and creating profitable additional revenue with new and existing clients in line with agreed financial objectives.

What you will do

  • Deliver sales of Iron Mountain solutions into new and existing enterprise accounts to increase revenue, growth and quota attainment.

  • Build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals.

  • Understands and influences a wide range of customer stakeholders while acting as industry expert to the customer.

  • Continuously prospect to develop net new clients, which includes expanding existing relationships and products of assigned accounts.

  • Maintain a consistent ‘pipeline’ that enables meeting and exceeding quota attainment.

  • Work to collaborate with the customer on net new opportunities and work through Negotiated and RFP sales processes.

What you will bring

  • Strong background and proven experience of strategic new business hunting, sales process and solution selling.

  • You will have likely come from a Data Management, Document Management, Records Storage, Digital Solutions, SaaS, BPO, ECM or other relevant field

  • Significant direct solution sales experience, selling business services, business process outsourcing, archiving or similar offering.

  • Strong background and proven experience of strategic new business hunting

  • The ability to develop solutions that map to customer requirements.

  • Experienced in delivering sales of Technology solutions

  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate.

  • Ability to team up effectively at all levels of Iron Mountain and customer personnel (to include C-level) on a wide range of topics and issues.
