Iron Mountain is seeking a VP, Inside Sales to lead our Inside Sales activities in Europe. This person will build, lead, transform and manage the Inside Sales teams, work closely with Marketing, Business Operations/Sales Support (as well as other business units) and be accountable for new business development in new and existing SMB and Midmarket customers. Additionally, he/she will be heavily involved in managing ongoing account management. And, lead the efforts to drive productivity and efficiency improvement for this team through innovation, customer engagement and process improvement. This position reports into the Senior Vice President of Europe.
What you will do
Transform and expand existing teams into high performing Inside sales organization with the ambition to hit $50M of bookings in 2026
Drive results through empowering people and people managers to develop and execute upon Iron Mountain strategy
Determine, communicate and manage the critical few KPIs necessary to result in exceeding quota expectations
Collaborate with business partners in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Marketing and Recruiting to position the Inside Sales team for success and growth year over year
Structure a continuous improvement program through ongoing leadership development for self and team
Create individualized development plans for leaders and high potential employees, manage performance for average and below performers
Influence the organization in product and solutions development that fit the purpose of the customer segment
What you will bring
Senior leadership experience in a Solution Selling Environment
Building and running Europe wide Inside Sales organizations
Direct Sales Management Experience as well as a Management through Influence
Demonstrated experience in working with Business Partners in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Marketing and Recruiting
Proven track record of exceeding quota requirements as a Sales Manager as well as a Senior Leader
5+ years in an Senior Inside Sales Leadership role
Demonstrated ability to drive a positive, competitive and winning culture
Create a healthy balance of individual and team collaboration, resulting in a high participation rate in quota achievement across the Inside Sales team.
Focus on leading by example and working with the team to win, not through hierarchical leadership only. Taking a “We” approach over an “I” approach
Skilled in leading through influence across all teams as well as driving results on own team
