Director, Digital Sales
The Director of Digital Sales role will be part of a talented team of individuals who will drive commercial strategy and execution for the Digital Business Unit. As the Digital Business unit invests heavily in organic growth, this role is dedicated to driving a high-performing sales team to boost lead generation and conversion. An experienced sales leader, the Director of Digital Sales will bring a culture of commercial excellence and accountability to their team of sellers.
What you’ll do
This position is responsible for managing a team that is selling complex digital offerings, including managed services and technology platforms. You will drive effective commercial strategy: use case prioritization in partnership with Product, customer segmentation, go-to-market strategy in partnership with marketing, and effective management of the sales team responsible for driving deals.
The Director of Digital Sales is specifically focused on selling digitization, intelligent document processing, and content service platform offerings.
Responsibilities:
Based on the Digital growth strategy and current product portfolio, prioritize key market segments to focus on
Craft a unique and compelling go-to-market approach, for target accounts
Develop standard ways of working for dedicated sales team, with a focus on driving a high performance culture with consistent methodologies
Consistently train and upskill team, to drive continuous improvement in commercial excellence
Develop strong relationships with Iron Mountain’s leaders, collaborating with them effectively and becoming a trusted thought partner on critical decisions / areas of their function - serving as their trusted advisor, for how to meet their Digital quotas
Provide feedback to product teams, for where to prioritize use case development
What excites us:
Prior experience managing effective sales teams
Experience specifically with intelligent document processing and the digitization market
Strong leadership - ability to inspire and manage a team, pursuing a new market
Enjoys working closely with product and marketing teams
Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
Nice to have:
Experience in BPO sales
Wizardry with using Salesforce to manage the pipeline, and drive decision-making
Has a true passion for coaching and mentoring teams
Coming up with an alternative for “you’re on mute” and using it during your first video interview
